Bill Hearing Night 11/30/2011 0 Comments   Location: SD Civic Center Hours: 4         So Bill Hearing Night was a success! I was so nervous to present my speech at first but after I got up in front of the panel, I felt a sudden rush of confidence take over my body and mind and I presented my speech in front of everyone without messing up once. I'm so proud of myself, because I came over my fear of public speaking and am now looking forward to the year to come.        Bill Hearing Night was held in the San Diego Civic Center on the 12th floor. There was a panel of 6 watching over us and and an audience behind us. Each member of the bill would present their speech upon being recognized by the chair. We had two minutes each to present and at the end, each group would be asked a series of questions by the panel members and at the end of the night, the panel revealed the winning bill.       The winning bill for our delegations was on Advertising in schools.
