Location: Mission Valley YMCA Hours: 4 I'm combining these two meetings together because we went over the same tings in both. Both aided us in preparation of our speeches/bills for Bill Hearing Night. While some of us worked on editing our speeches, others of us performed our speeches in front of other delegates to get more practice as well as a feel of what it would be like to present in front of an audience. We also practiced debating various topics of our choosing for 30 seconds at a time. This really helped break the ice and allowed delegsates to appropriately express themselves and get over their fear of public speaking. This all tied into the preparation of the bill which is the main purpose of Y&G, to write bills and achieve a better understanding of our states government. Add Comment First Post! 11/30/2011
